    On May 6, the 3# slab continuous casting machine project of Guangxi Iron and Steel Group Steel Mill successfully completed the main structure capping. At the same time, a number of important nodes such as the bottom sealing of the outer cylinder of the swirl pool of the project continuous casting machine, the demolition and modification of the off-line equipment foundation of the 1 and 2# continuous casting machine, and the scouring ditch foundation of the rear of the continuous casting machine have been realized successively, creating good conditions and laying a solid foundation for the installation and commissioning of subsequent equipment.

    The main body of the 3# continuous casting machine is a frame structure, the platform is 15.6 meters high, and includes functional rooms such as large drum rotary table, electrical room, hydraulic station, and water distribution room. During the construction process, the project team overcame difficulties such as high temperature in the plant, tight schedule and large amount of coordination, formulated the construction plan in advance, strictly standardized the operation process and technological standards, and constantly optimized the construction organization to ensure the smooth construction of the main structure.
